Revolve Solar Appoints Jeff Putnam to Operations Director

AUSTIN, TX (November 11, 2013): Revolve Solar, a leading force in solar installation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Putman as Operations Director in its California market.

Putnam joins Revolve Solar from Paramount Solar/Solar City where he managed sub-contractors and created the installation program GC Direct. Previously, he worked in project management and procurement for the 2 Mega Watt solar farm at the Denver International Airport, the largest distributed generation photovoltaic energy producer in Colorado, as well as the 2.2 Mega Watt tracker at the Fresno International Airport. “Projects of that size and complexity necessarily deepened my understanding of the solar industry and its growth potential,” Putnam says.

Putnam’s strengths are project design and development, and he has excellent results and resolution in both commercial and residential work. After two decades as a Journeymen Electrician, Putnam joined the solar industry eight years ago. Educated in Long Beach, CA, Putnam earned his Residential Electric Code #240 qualification at Long Beach City College. He is a certified bonded Electrical Contractor, trained in SMUD for Advance Photovoltaic (PV) design, as well as SMA inverters.

“Jeff is a valuable addition to our California team,” says Revolve’s CEO Tim Padden, “He has the passion and drive to push our company to the next level of excellence.”

“I am excited to join Revolve Solar,” says Putnam, “because of their rapid growth and expansion into new markets. I am looking forward to working with the team that is changing the face of the solar industry.”

Putnam is married with two children and enjoys baseball, football, fishing, camping with family and friends, and watching his children play sports.
